Federal Tax Credit
Certain federal tax credits have been extended starting in February of 2018. On qualifying conventional heating and cooling systems, consumers can earn back 10% of the cost of the system, up to $500. For geothermal heating and cooling systems you’ll get 30% of the cost of the system back. That’s a huge savings! If your system was installed January 1, 2017 or after, you can still obtain the tax credit. After December 31, 2019 there are still savings available. In 2020 you’ll receive 26% of the cost, and in 2021 22% of the cost. For more information contact our office.
